"My first feeling is that Chinese physicians are more and more influential in the world . St. Gallen Consensus was used to mainly from American and European physicians. It is rare to have 3 physicians in the expert panel from a developing Asian country such as China. This means that China's academic influential power is recognized by international peers. Otherwise we won't be invited," Dr. Binghe Xu stated when he was interviewed by Oncology Frontier.

PS. 438 Hematologists/Oncologists from China attended American Society of Hematology (ASH) annual meeting 2014, San Francisco, was also the second largest group.
